Gateway Apostille
How We Can Assist
At Gateway Apostille, we don’t simply file your documents with the relevant authorities. We provide a detailed and exacting consultation, review and preparation process that ensures that you get exactly what you need and understand exactly what to expect.
Obtaining an Apostille for Your Documents
Getting an Apostille for your documents can be a complicated process. Your Consultant will explain this in detail, however, before you start it is better to decide exactly which documents are required to be processed, the reasons they are needed and compile a set of supporting documents. This does not need to be complete initially as your consultant will advise on exactly what is needed.
Once you have a good idea of what you need and what you already have in place, contact us and open a discussion (free of charge).
Our experts will then guide you through the step by step process, review scans of all the documents you have in place (you can upload these in our contact form below) and advise you on what else is required or if the documents are sufficient.
Once the initial discussions and document preparation are complete your personal manager will then discuss the total cost – no hidden fees. You will also be informed of the approximate time it will take to complete the process once the originals are delivered to the correct authorities, and finally when everything is agreed in writing, and invoice for 50% of the costs will be issued.
The advance payment is required as the authorities charge their fees on submission. We cover the total cost and receive the balance and our fees once the documents have been completed. Once the documents are really to be delivered a second final invoice for the remaining 50% will be issued and on receipt your documents will be delivered.

Legalisation & Verification of Your Documents.
The procedure to getting your documents processed initially is the same as gaining an apostille. Discuss your requirements with our experts, compile your documents and submit the scans for review.
From there again our specialists will review all the details and explain what is required or if they are complete. They will also throughout this initial process discuss and advise on what is necessary to gain the expected results.
We strongly advise that you seek your own legal council to advise you on what you need before and during contact with us. A list of reputable legal council is available on request (all are independent of Apostille Indonesia).
Our consultants will discuss the final results of the document compilation, the time line to expected completion and the total cost.
Once all details are agreed in writing, an invoice for 50% of the total cost will be issued and then the documents will be submitted for processing.
On completion of the process, a final invoice will be sent and the original documents will be delivered to you.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS
Indonesian authorities will only accept documents in either Indonesian or English languages. This is unfortunately the case in most countries.
For International clients form countries where their documents are not in English, Gateway Apostille will advise on the best course of action. Which documents need to be translated and which are not necessary. This will be done at the initial consultations stage when all documents are collated.
Gateway Apostille can provide certified translation of the necessary documents for more than 20 of the most common languages. For some of the less common, translations can be arranged or you may wish to address this situation yourself.
Your Personal manager will advise on the best steps to take, which documents require the translation and how long it will take. Since these are certified translations, it is a slightly longer process than simply having software do it.
Once the discussions are complete and the decisions are made, the documents will be submitted to our translation division and when complete an invoice will be issued based on the agreed on costs and the documents either delivered to you or retained to form part of the documents you may wish to submit in other parts of the project. The decision is entirely your.
Certified translations can be done for anyone, it is not necessary to engage us for further processing if a certified translation is all that is needed.
This is an independent division of Apostille Indonesia and is open to all types of projects and clients.
Driving in Indonesia -Essentials.
Anyone that visits Indonesia, either for a short stay or forever needs to be aware of the problems of transport and especially driving in the country. Public transport is not the best and motor cycles rule the road in rivers of chaotic people all trying theri best to get to where they are going and making up the rules as they go along.
Gateway Apostille strongly advise that if you decide to attempt to drive in the country first you need to have either an International Driving license or a local SIM (Drivers license). We also urge you to have either travel insurance that covers motor cycle accidents (you MUST check this before you pay for it) or full coverage local vehicle insurance AND medical coverage.
Driving in Indonesia is an object lesson in absolute fun and absolute terror all at the same time. It is essential to have you documents with you at all times as the Police very often stop foreign drivers whilst ignoring locals, or they have road blocks to check documentation. Although they are usually very pleasant if you are prepared they can be pretty hostile if you do not have a drivers license they can read.
Gateway Apostille consultants can discuss this issue with you and advise on what to do if you decide you want to be covered. We can arrange the right type of insurance and we can arrange for issuance of a local drivers license via the local authorities.
Drop us a line below and we will discuss the process with you.
